-Bush says Isreal defeated Hezbollah. Oh Word says the debate is similar to Jay-Z vs. Nas.
My question, who’s the Jigga in this situation?

-Interesting OutKast interview: Big Boi’s dream role in a movie? Bill Clinton (for the obvious reason). Dre says he’d like to play Pele the great Brazillian soccer player. Negro please. Only Pele can play Pele.

-Wyclef rises “with the Sun” in Singapore. (Since will.i.am swaggerjacked him here in the U.S.)

-True to form, Kanye West storms out of Lollapalooza.

-T.I. pays tribute to Philant Johnson in his new video. I always thought “Live in the Sky” was on some prophetic sh*t a la Eminem’s “Like Toy Soldiers.”

-Diddy’s $11 million necklace stolen. Now that’s one lucky stupid thief.

    I’m a foreign affairs watcher and a hiphop fan.. werid I know.. so ill take a stab at your question.
    I didnt get a chance to read the artciel cuz the filter at my work doesnt allow it.

    Israel was the dominanent power in the region (sans Iran), but not counting Caen and the jewish kingdom that the Romans pillaged in the first few centuries AD, its a relatively new kid on the modern middle-eastern block.

    Lebanon (read: Hezbollah) was the underdog, and some may argue instigated things with the raid on the Israeli barracks (read: Nas calling out Jay-Z for sampling his voice), then again Israel occupies the Shabba Farms (Jay-Z declearing himself NY’s King and infriging on Nas’ terrority), Israel has a better economy (Jay-Z’s commerical success), Israel made the first big blow with airstrikes and artly (Takeover), and everyone thought Lebanon was going to capitulate quickly, but they stood their ground and struck back (Ether), Jay-Z is in denial thinks (takeover > ether), Hezbollah gets all cocky and shit (Last Real ni**a Alive), but Israel tries to regain the moral highground (BluePrint 2)..

    Its obvious that in a few years Hezbollah will agree to become a puppet of Israel lawl

    I’ll go ahead and add that Nas was the first to cease fire in that battle. I don’t think it’s clear yet who initiated the cease fire btw Hezbollah and Israel.

    That part doesn’t work though.. Nas better bring the heat though next album. If he didnt release the lost tapes and instead just said this is his new album it would be hearlded as a 5 mic classic anyway, he must’ve been retarded to shelve classics like Blaze a 50, Purple and Doo Rags

    Term is definitely one to keep an eye out. But you can’t give him all the credit for “Watch How It Go Down.” Premo’s not like any other producers in the sense that he tells the emcee how they’re supposed to rap on his beats. That’s why a lot of rappers flow like that when he’s behind the boards.
