I understand Em drew this cover art himself and all, but this has to be the worst-looking most comedic album cover of 2006. Who’s the catface ninja in the back by the way?

Btw., rumored album cover Jay-Z’s Kingdom Come. What’s the web symbol for “fake”? I guess it’s the real deal after all.

    Really feeling the Em cover actually. That shit is fresh, got some soul to it, not another record cover with some rapper scowling at the world (see Jigga). You’d think being a rapper meant abandoning happiness and creativity of any sort. If that’s the Jay-Z cover, it’s actually the worst of all his scowling rapper covers.

    Can’t argue with that, but the cover is a big part of the package for me. Em’s never had bad covers and I’m not even mad at him for this one. But, Jay…let’s just hope this isn’t the real one.

    the Em cover is borderline good. it’s not too creative even though he did it with his own hands. i think that Jay album cover is real cause i was on wikipedia and that’s the cover they have for it too. it’s “Jay” all his album covers have been basic, i think i should get some superman type of thing going since he got the title idea from the superman comic book

    I don’t think thats the real re-up cover. Someone probably just heard he did a freehand picture on shade 45 and knocked this off quick.

    I saw pictures of his artwork from when he was 14 years old, and it was excellent, much better than those cartoons. As a kid he did drawings of ice cube and dr.dre that basically looked like photographs.
    He said it took him a month and a half to draw the re-up cpver as a grown man, so its guaranteed to be better than this.
