-Video: Some GooTube thugs showing off a stolen Young Buck piece. Problem is, the chain is clearly fake.

-Contrary to those widespread rumors that almost ruined your holiday, Ashanti is still available.

-DJ samples 800 hip-hop songs in 48 minutes. Hopefully, he has some lawyers that dress warm. Mistajam has the tracklist.

-New DJ Muggs & GZA remix album in the works.

-Not the perfect way to jumpstart a new year: “Throw Some D’s Remix” ft. The Game & Rick Ross

-Gospel crunk: a new sub-genre which merges church music with Lil Jon. Does God really need gimmicks in order to save folks?

-Kurupt gets engaged to Gail Gotti. His Young Gotti alias is now official.

    Haven’t heard it..do you have it? I mean I never liked the fact she couldn’t *sing* but ‘promise’ was a good use of her vocal ability..

    I was bumping that all day today. The Beck joint is also decent. My guilty pleasure is really Feist, I don’t remember the name of the Cd but it’s more of a remix album.

    Also in constant rotation: Citizen Cope, Neil Young’s new one, um, the ARE, Mr. Scruff, some parts of the DJ Shadow joint. GYM CLASS HEROES!

    Oh yeah, the Feist joint is called Open Season. Finally, no day is complete without the KOs disc these days.
