Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you “Throwback Thursdays,” Rizoh style-e. Every Thursday we’ll take a trip down the yesteryears and revisit some timeless music videos that helped map out today’s soundscape. From De La and Tribe Called Quest (eat your heart out, Lupay Dizassco!) to Fela and Last Poets.

Kicking off with the 1988 Fat Boys home run “Sex Machine”…one of the most sampled songs in hip-hop history. Enjoy.

    Yo why am i seeing the same posts in every hiphop blog?writers block, life of hustler, and the rapup blog all have the same throwback video theme. not hating but what’s up with the individuality?

    rizoh since u didn’t get it the first time i case i’ll try again..i’ve looked at three different hiphop blogs (still with me) and they all have the “throwback video theme”. You call your post throwback thursdays, the other blog site calls it throwback fridays on so on. all i was saying that all of you r doing pretty much the same thing.

    and the blog i posted on my above comment is just a blog i used to go to b4 the guy took a hiatus for some reason, had to say that because i have no affilition and don’t want any backlash from the guy that own’s it.
