    Had the same thought re: Jeezy. Rolling, thanks for the knowledge.

    I think this shit is a little boring. In the context of an album, it might have a better feel, but by itself, it seems somewhat stale. The verses pique my interest because the whole song seems to speak to Kanye’s central tension–he is so incredibly self-aware that he knows better than to act as he does but still can’t help himself and uses the awareness as an excuse–but that isn’t really a new theme for him. You know?

    I like that analysis Joey…and yes that to me is Ye’s schtick. It works well for him..

    I really think he dropped this to prove himself as a lyricist. This is one of his best songs lyrically..each line seems calculated. I actually dig it…it has a southern feel yet the background vocals remind me of Japanese pop.
