  I’m not offended at all b/c of that word u mentioned … context. Context is everything and in this case I understand the context within which he is using the word Ni**er. I don’t really like 2 use the word in my songs but in the 1st song on my page I do and it again has 2 do with context. I am MUCH more offended by Three-Six Mafia [4 example] and everything they stand 4 including that God-4saken song “Its Hard Out Here For A Pimp” which actually won an Academy Award. Real talk that was a low point 4 Black people in my opinion …

  This reminds me of when Young Black Teenagers came out with Daddy Called Me Niga Cuz I Liked To Rhyme. It’s all context. But I know some people out there think that white people should never say the word. Hell, almost everything confrontational, out of context, is offensive. Listeners have to think before they open their mouths with their fuckin’ opinions.

  I’ll be interested to see if this gets any heat. I have no idea where Ill Bill and La Coka Nostra are on the mainstream media attention scale.

(e.g. serius jones, grafh, styles p, jadakiss) but using the n-word is just a huge deal. in this situation, everyone’s gon be like it’s cool cause the context it is used in but in many other situations, everyone goes nuts cause someone uses the n-word. i don’t use the n-word.
  i love hip-hop but hip-hop’s fucked up cause it’s hypocritical and to me hip-hop always gets a bad rap and for the wrong reasons so i get pissed but fuck it. peace.

  I can see how someone would be offended by this, even if he is using it in a “good” sense.
  But like someone said before, it’s similiar to what YBT said (only a shitload better). With that said, I’d still have a problem with whites calling me a nigga. It may sound trite, but we made a good thing out of that word, and for some white dude who thinks he’s down to say that feels like a slap to the face.
