  Shelly, He kept it real, give the man some respect, at least he had the balls to speak the truth, knowing damn well there would be repercussions, also being a white boy from Canada makes you all the more likely to listen to ATCQ than say Spice 1.

  DB Ossi – don’t forget the issue was not that he didn’t grow up on ATCQ, it’s him saying he has no intention of listening to ATCQ and his attitude. He came off as if he was saying ‘f*ck ATCQ’. Damn if you’re an artist, you should be making a point of seeking out the best examples of the very art you practice, so you can learn and appreciate. Lupe has shown himself to be arrogant and not in a good way.

  Arrogant You said it ADB Nuff said and DB Ossi I did Listen To Spice-1 and many others, but there are old Schoolers out that that I didnt Grow up on like U.T.F.O. but that doesnt mean Ima disrespect them and say I have no intentions of listening to there music, Its not that he didnt listen to them growing up that pisses me off its the Attitude That he came with. We all have our Favs but I know that there will be no Lupe Joints for me in the future Im gonna spend my money on people who are hip hop & Respect it………………………K

Lupe made a mistake, but it happens when people are trying to crucify you for making an honest mistake. I think his comment was more of a lash out against people like Phonte of Little Brother, and not against ATCQ itself.
