Critics might tell you otherwise but the truth remains that hip-hop had a good run this year. As you’ve probably noticed, that makes it hard to narrow the year’s best albums down to three. From the looks of it though, American Gangster and Graduation are the favorites among The Rap Up readers. More on that later.

So, here’s the million dollar question: If you could pick just one song as the Best Hip-Hop Song of 2007, what would it be?

anybody hu says stronger is a twat…its a good beat but cmon it doesnt even compare to most other songs this year in terms of ‘rap’ not just the track…but for me its ‘ignorant sh*t’ by Jay-z…altho i dnt think its credited im nearly 100% percent sure that he sampled biggies ‘big poppa’ for it and it just awesome…its the equvalent to josh smith payin tribute to dominque when he dawned the hawks throwback in the 05 dunk contest…its just fantastic!
