Buddie [Dem Franchize Boys]: “Nas is Talkin’ Nonsense”

Buddie, a member of the grammatically challenged rap group Dem Franchize Boys had some harsh words for Nas in a recent interview. DFB’s has a single in rotation dubbed “Talkin Out da Side of Ya Neck” and Buddie was asked to name one person who’s been doing the most talking lately.

I can’t really point no fingers, but Nas did name his album ‘Hip Hop Is Dead’, and I feel like, I could never speak with Nas on a one-on-one basis to see why he named it or how he really felt towards it. But, the people who say hip hop is dead, and Franchize is part to blame, I feel they’re just talkin’ nonsense. Like I say, if you ain’t talkin’ ‘bout no money, man, we ain’t even really tryin’ to hear you, so just keep your words to yourself.

Clearly, Buddie is talking out the side of his own neck. Someone needs to remind him that the issue of Hip-Hop Is Dead is so 1996 at this point.

lol @ him saying this a year after nas dropped his album.
this guy is a joke…and cosign J to the AAP i was thinking the exact same thing

“I could never speak with Nas on a one-on-one basis”

thats because you’re not worthy of being in Nas’s presence. go somewhere and lean and rock with it. leave the topic of hip hop to people who really are a part of it…clown

Prolly the reason he can’t confront Nas is he knows Nas’s status won’t allow for that kind of sit-down. He knows better, obviously.
