Hillary Clinton narrowly edged out Barack Obama to clinch the New Hampshire democratic primary. She took home 39% of the votes, but Obama gave a strong showing with 36%. Crying in public and getting Bill to lash out at Obama definitely worked for Hillary, I see. John Edwards came in third with 17%.
No surprises for John McCain who won New Hampshire back in 2000 when he ran against Dubya. McCain won N.H. again, this time with 38%. Romney finished 2nd with 32%.
Now that the white voters in Iowa and New Hampshire have “validated” Obama’s candidacy, I wonder if the Black folks in South Carolina who’re looking to support Hillary will now switch their support to Obama. Then again, John Edwards was born in South Carolina. And he carried his home state last time around.
