Speaking of KING, now that their editor-in-chief Datwon Thomas has taken up the reins of power at XXL, can we expect the hip-hop rag to go from Lil Wayne stannery to eye candy obsessive? I don’t think anyone would complain about the latter though. After all, XXL is still a favorite among inmates all across the United States. True story: An ex-con friend once told me that XXL‘s Eye Candy column was one of the things that kept him afloat throughout his 4-year bid. I wanted to say to him “Sorry man, I can’t relate to that,” but like I said, he’s an ex-con.
