Picking up right where we left off, I give you the 2nd part of my chat with Bun B where I ask him about the new UGK album and the possibility of collaborating with the legendary DJ Premier. Plus, you won’t believe who he picked to win the 2008 NBA championship. (User-submitted questions are in italics.)

Peep game.

>>Last time we talked you mentioned the possibility of a new UGK album after II Trill, how soon can we expect it? What’s the title?
It’s still in the works. I’m about to go into the studio and knock out a few joints for that.

>>Who are you working with? Any guest MCs?
There’ll probably be 3 or 4 guests at most. Just people that we really respect, you know.

>>Have you tried your hands at producing yet? – DCDRO
I’ve made a couple of beats before, but I wouldn’t consider myself a producer. A producer is a guy like Quincy Jones. I don’t know if a lot of cats are on that level. Without speaking for everybody, I can definitely say that I’m nowhere near that level. I made a couple of beats before but nothing to brag about really.

>>Who are some of your own favorite producers?
Pimp C, of course, Dr. Dre, DJ Premier, and DJ Quik.

>>Are we going to hear Bun B and DJ Premier anytime soon? — ant
Yes. He’s producing a song on the UGK album. Premier was supposed to produce a record for the UGK album. He was tied up with Christina Aguilera and Whitney Houston, and he had a lot of big things going on. And his scheduled kept clashing with mine. When he was off I was on, when I was off he was on. But I’m definitely going to have him do one on this UGK record.

>>That should be dope. I can’t think of anybody that you haven’t worked with at this point.
Only people that are legends that I haven’t worked with are [DJ] Quik and [Dr.] Dre. You know, I did the Marley Marl record.

>>How was it working with Lupe on the “Swang on em” joint being 2 different types of emcees? How did it work out – get em genius
We’re just two artists with a lot of respect for each other.

>>Who are some of your favorite new artists in hip hop? – Jonrud00
Wale, Big Tuck, Tum Tum

>>Looking ahead, how many more albums do you plan to release?
I’ll keep doing it till the people don’t want to hear me anymore. It’ll be pretty obvious.

>>Make your NBA finals prediction
Spurs vs. Celtics

>>Who’s going to win the championship?
The Spurs
