All you have to do to retain your artists is let them sleep in your couch? Who woulda thunk it?

Tony Yayo on what makes the Unit tick:

“A lot of artists on Def Jam or that was down with Jay-Z never got to see what his couch looks like. M.O.P., they was at 50′s mansion for months. Spider Loc, Hot Rod, these guys had naked girls running around in jacuzzis. 50 opened up his crib to them.”

Banks on G-Unit’s drive for success:

“I think the success and the business sense that goes along with G-Unit overwhelms and overshadows the love we have for the music.”

Yayo on Buck’s exit:

“It’s better for me. I mean, that’s just more space on the album for me, so it’s better for me. I look at Buck like…I kind of lost respect for Buck.”
