Past all the vulgar filled lyrics there is a message he is sending and his messages are clear and clever in the way they are delivered. Sharpton is not only a racist but a hipocrit as well. Don’t try to rhyme in Adam Sandler movies and sound like a rapper and carry yourself with the swagger of one if you are going to put it down. The world would be a better place with out you.     This track was called Misunderstood at first and then the name got changed to Don’tGetIt.
    I think Lil Wayne’s comments were controversial but he is speaking his mind.
    I do think though, that saying “Fuck Al Sharpton and anyone like him” was a little too far but we do have the freedom of speech.
    I just hope this won’t start a big thing between the rappers and Al Sharpton because like him or not, he has done a lot for African-Americans and I do respect him.
    And yes, for those who are wondering, I do listen to rap music, I am African-American, and Lil Wayne is my favorite rapper.

Because only half of the population of his data approved of him and the other half didn’t. Thats a freakin lot. Al has an ability to give people hope when they see him. But he doesn’t commit to his work. Take a look at his input to the Martin Lee Anderson case. I feel him when it comes to getting rid of the “B” and “H” words and to try to eliminate the objectification of women but you can’t com e at people and tell them to change themselves and sacrifice their own personal wealth(With SOAP).     Aight it shouldn’t matter if your from the hood or if your from the suburbs or wherever the fuck your from the facts and proof are right there in front of us. Lil Wayne is completley right about our jail system in america, its shit. We punish people for all the wrong reasons to try and seem tough in the eyes of other nations, but all we did was put the civil rights movement in the can. Its a never ending cycle, a person goes to jail whos already in poverty(mainly black men even though no likes to admit it) and when they finally get out they have nothing. So they go right back to what got them into jail cuz thats tha only way to survive. And when they get caught they go right back to jail and the cycle starts over. Some people say that anyone can work thier way out of poverty if they work hard enough but thats bullshit. When you cant get an education and you see guys reeling in the money from sellin dope it seems pretty glamorous. And suddenly we see our jails filled passed the max and we have no room left for the real criminals. So we let them live normal lives while the people who were just tryin to make a livin cuz they have no other option rot in jail. Its pathetic that the few people that can help this situation act so oblivious and think the solution is to just throw em all in jail. Its nice to see someone like Wayne with the publicity he has shedding light on this shit when noone else wants to. And all the stuff he talks about is true and when someone actually brings this shit into the public eye it starts an uproar.No one likes to admit that this country has problems, so when someone tries to talk about it everyone tries to shut them up cuz they just want to believe everythin is fine and that this nation is perfect.
