Common Quietly Changes New Album Title

At last night’s Common show, Enigmatik and I were talking about how silly it is that Common intends to release an album titled Invincinble Summer in the winter, no less. If Comm had dropped Invincible Summer in June as previously scheduled, the title would’ve made a lot of sense. But no, he was too busy filming a movie to release any music. Well, guess what? We’ve now entered the fall season.

Apparently, Common realized this as well and suddenly changed his album title from Invincible Summer to *gasp* Universal Mind Control. “Pharrell produced the entire Universal Mind Control album,” said Common at the concert. So there you have it, Universal Mind Control arrives this November.

    I remember reading in some magazine awhile ago where Common basically said that whenever he’s in a relationship, it’s affects his music. I believe he was referring to Electric Circus.

    that’s cool, it’s a change !!
    that won’t be a flop cuz common now is a master and have a real fan base ! plus electric circus
    wasn’t a real flop cuz in indé
    with 300k !!! that good nevertheless. plus Lyrically
    common iz never a flop !!! but that a good idea this new thing
    cuz too much kanye ain’t good.
    so now a new ish and then 2009
    a new YeWest AND CommoN album together on GOOD MUSIC ! peace
