That Kanye Guy Can SANG

The American idol that we mere mortals know as Kanye West crashed American Idol to show those wannabe singers how to REALLY sang this music thing. KanYeezy blessed the aspiring Idols with a robot-voiced rendition of his smash single “Heartless,” replete with echoes and gasping breaths. Oh, and it’s not Ye’s fault that he kept starting his verses late. The beat was too early.

    #12 I get what you’re saying, but the fact is he went on singing show and sang, so I think it’s justified to talk about his lack of skills in that department. You have to see the irony of it: the entire American Idol show is based on judging people’s singing skills to see if they can “make it,” and Kanye goes in there and shows everyone that you don’t need singing skills to have an album featuring your singing (with vocoder, no less) go platinum.

    Damn, I said “singing” way too many times in that.
