Founding member of The Beastie Boys, MCA, known to family and friends as Adam Yauch, has been diagnosed with cancer. Yauch, in the video below, makes the announcement that he’s been diagnosed with localized cancer in a lymph node and in his neck. The good news, says MCA, is that due to the cancer not spreading and him undergoing surgery in the immediate future he think it’ll be more of a pain-in-the-ass than anything else.
