Keep in mind that this was BEFORE the punch heard around the world. I find it interesting that he blames the failure of Lex Diamond Story on “fickle fans.” OK, I’ll stop before that 300-pound dude shows up at my door.

Ok, I’m sorry…I know I’m late. I’m not really on the net very much these days. But I just got a text that they are putting hands on people. WOW. And the comment section has people talking about how Budden deserved it.

Maybe I’m the idiot, but here I was thinking that we grew up when we lost Pac and Big. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE? BE RAPPERS, RAP IT OUT!!!

    Correction Nay:

Pac and Big’s deaths were a devastating blow to hip hop because we lost two of the greats. If Joe Budden were to go out, no one I know in real life (not the net-world) would give two fucks. And that’s real. Joe Budden leaving this world would make the rap species less bitch-made.

@Ivan: Joe Budden might not be Pac or Big but people dying over rap beef is ridiculous no matter their status or skills. The Pac & Big tragedies should’ve taught us that.

Ivan… you need to pull back. Number one, the loss of Big and Pac had more to do with gang violence and the impotence of the LAPD than anything between those two artists or their respective label associations. Secondly, no. Just no. Losing more of our most talented artists would not help Hip-Hop any way, shape or form, regardless of how “bitch-made” you’ve convinced yourself they are.

Also, did y’all even listen to that thing? Rae was biggin’ up Slaughterhouse and now his weed carriers are punchin’ dudes in the face? I never figured The Wu to work some Aftermath-type “beef marketing” bullshit. I suppose OB4CL2 might actually be dropping soon…
