Young Chris may not be as intimidating as Beanie Sigel or as lucky as Memphis Bleek, but I’d like to think he makes more than your average waiter. And you know it’s an unwritten rule in rap that every rapper must write songs exulting their pocket, even if it’s empty. The idea is that if you rap about it often enough people will start to believe you. The mere perception that a rapper’s outfit is sewn from a truckload of Benjamins may even lead to a few CD sales and concert gigs down the line. Now what’s this I’m hearing about Freeway signing to Cash Money?
