Rappers often come under fire for projecting a certain lifestyle while leading an entirely different lifestyle in reality. Well, not if Lil Wayne has anything to do with it.

This animated video of Lil Wayne and Lauren London disputing the paternity of London’s child on Maury serves as a reminder that Wayne is making good on his promise to f-ck every girl in the world. Wayne is a man of his word.

Similarly, 50 Cent deserves some credit for steering hip-hop toward this newfound path of realness. I can only imagine how many girls are camped out in front of 50′s Connecticut mansion with pants down and their hands held out for a million-dollar check after hearing “Baby By Me.”

Rappers like 50 and Weezy talk the talk and walk the walk. This is the new approach rappers must take if hip-hop is to thrive in the new decade. In the wise words of Atmosphere’s Slug, “the problem with truth is that it’s usually brutal.” The smart thing to do if you’re a rapper is to tell a lie and then force that lie into your reality at all cost. Make that lie your truth.
