Say What? Jay-Z and Nas vs. Beanie Sigel and 50 Cent

I’m far from a rumor connoisseur, but this one was to good to pass up. I’ve been hearing about this possible match-up lately. Apparently, Jay has heard the prayers of many hip-hop fans (including yours truly) that he needs to drag Nas into the studio and drop a remix of “Empire State of Mind.” But that’s not all. Beanie Sigel, who has spent the last 3 weeks throwing shots at his former mentor, claims that this new New York anthem also includes some shots at Beans and Fif. I can’t picture a scenario where Beans and his puppeteer would body two of the greatest battle MCs of our generation. Still, it sure as hell makes for good entertainment.

    The biggest loser in this is Beanie Sigel. Even if 50 attracts 90% of the venom from a Jay or Jay/Nas diss, he’s still just another body under the Roc.

    I still find this highly entertaining, though.

    I got 5 says Jay’s verse drags Dame into this within the first 4 bars or something, lol.

    So far this beef has been nothing but Myspace, Twitter, and facebook. If they start dropping dis tracks on each other I’d be down to watch, but so far it’s a genuine snooze fest.

    Jay in his right mind hopefully will NOT be dissing 50 cent. That’s exactly what 50 wants, Jay stands more to “lose” from a PR standpoint and right now Jay is riding a wave of success, popularity, pomp and fame…not something to throw away at an opportune time with 50 cent’s album still charting.

I think Beanie is letting off some frustration after Jay didn’t vouch for him and let the nigga go to jail. Jay foul and 50 has been begging to get into a battle with Jay for years… So fif is prepared for whatever comes. Beans said Jay was sweating bullets when Nas did that Ether… aint nothing like some inside juice…

    I would not vouch for beans either, he’s brainless and probably will continue his wrongful doing, in which will have a negative effect on Jay. People would look at jay as if he was responsible for beans actions and will get sued somehow.
