Paul Mawhinney holds the unofficial record for the world’s largest record collection. In this video, Mawhinney says that 83% of his material is unavailable on CD, “Eighty-three percent of the music that I have on those shelves you can’t buy at any price, anywhere!” Amazing.
Mawhinney is trying to sell his collection of 1 million albums and 1.5 million singles, which is worth about $50 million. Paul is only asking for $3 million. Someone at the Library of Congress should give Paul a call.

^ Lol word!!!
Shoo he should ask for at least 20 for all the time and effort he put in collecting all those vinyls
damn, if I had that kind of money, I would have def. bought the collection already!
I think a group of rappers should buy this collection and share it amongst themselves or with the people – BUT they should upload all the content online, for preservation purposes. Making sure the music never gets lost. Or maybe GOOGLE should buy it – since that co. will be President some day.
