This is some hilarious fact checking gaffe by the the journotards at Washington Post.

A Nov. 26 article in the District edition of Local Living incorrectly said a Public Enemy song declared 9/11 a joke. The song refers to 911, the emergency phone number.

The embarrassment could’ve been easily avoided had the writer actually listened to “911 Is A Joke” first. I’ve done all the hardwork for them by digging up a music video of the 1989 PE classic. It took me 5 seconds.

Because it COULDN’T POSSIBLY BE that a copy editor saw “911″ and thoughtlessly changed it to “9/11″ (to conform to the paper’s style guide).

There’s no way this could be an accident! It has to be ignorance! We should FIRE THE JOURNALIST!!!
