The only thing more humiliating than being a male cheerleader is being a male cheerleader with a broken nose, courtesy of two players you normally cheer for on game days. Police in Columbia, Missouri, say that two female basketball players at the University of Missouri went haywire and broke a male cheerleader’s nose, following an incident on Friday morning.
According to the Columbia Tribune, the two players, Amanda Hanneman (5’11″) and Jessra Johnson (6’1″) were out late celebrating their team’s 83-34 domination over Texas Pan-American on Thursday night. The two later headed to an apartment complex where a police spokesman says a “dynamic disturbance” occurred around 2 a.m, with at least 8 people “trying to break it up, different people trying to get involved.”
The two basketball players were later pulled over and arrested on their way home. They’ve been suspended indefinitely by the University of Missouri.
