Charlie Brooker is a funny, funny man. There was a bit later in that show (it’s called Newswipe) where they explain how the cops never admit they’ve made a mistake; instead they’ll make out like the person they’ve wrongly arrested/beaten down/shot deserved it cos they’re secretly pedophiles/terrorists/money launderers.
