Chamillionaire – Main Event (featuring Paul Wall, Slim Thug & Dorrough)
If Texas is to ever regain its hip-hop hegemony, it will require a collective effort. If there’s one person in Texas who understands the concept of power in numbers it’s Chamillionaire. Cham premiered his latest single, “Main Event,” today along with details of its upcoming music video.
With the All-Star comes to Dallas this weekend, Koopa has put together a Texas All-Star lineup of his own and plans to shoot a music video for “Main Event” in Dallas soon. “The plan,” he says, “is to shoot each of the guys guerrilla-style, as they walk red carpets and mix and mingle at the many A-list events they plan on attending.” There will be a final clip of a grand finale performance scene featuring all of the artists to be shot at an undisclosed location.
Cham adds:
“I thought I’d take this opportunity [All-Star Weekend in Dallas, Tx] to remind the rest of the world that Texas is still doing it big when it comes to music.” Chamillionaire says of his ambitious endeavor. “Every artist on the song with me has independent hustle and strength in the streets. It’s an All-Star song so what better place to shoot the video than All-Star Weekend, right here in our own backyard.”

Did anyone else see Chamillionaire at that celebrity bowling event little while ago? Apparently he’s been hitting up a bunch of charity sporting events and he’s even down-to-earth enough to sit down for interviews while he’s out there.
