Given the entertainment industry’s penchant for remakes, I’m surprised no one has remade “We Are The World” till now. All that changed, thanks to the Haiti earthquake. Quincy Jones rounded up 25 big enchiladas to reenact the 1985 epic. It’s the same song, except with better singers (*tongue firmly pressed in cheek*). Lil Wayne gets to sing Bob Dylan’s part, while Justin Bieber channels Lionel Richie’s lines. Kanye, Snoop, Jonas Brothers, and Wyclef also signed up for the collaboration.

The seriousness of the Haiti situation is the only thing making me believe this isn’t an awful, awful joke.

    *Sigh*
