Stones Throw has teamed up with Serato and the J Dilla Estate for a sweet deal to all donut-loving DJ’s, and what DJ worth his salt doesn’t like donuts?
We’re talking about the J Dilla kind of donuts of course. Donut Shop holds two discs with six J Dilla tracks, two sides with Serato Control Tone (for use with Serato Scratch Live DJ software), and two donut slipmats in a package. Three of the Dilla tracks are unreleased instrumentals from the Dila archives picked by J.Rocc, the other three are instrumentals from tracks Dilla did for Mos Def, Q-Tip and Busta Rhymes.
