Dr. Dre is the Axl Rose of Hip-Hop

Standing next to Interscope head honcho Jimmy Iovine and with a mischievous smile on his face, Dr. Dre announced that the first single from his eternally delayed Detox album is a song called “Under Pressure.” With Jay-Z. The song was supposed to drop today. As of this writing, “Under Pressure” is nowhere to be found. There are still 2 hours left in the day (Central Time, that is), so technically “Under Pressure” could still arrive today. Right? Right? If this song drops tonight, I’ll gladly entertain scrambled eggs on my face. If it doesn’t, it only reinforces my long-held assertion that Detox is a cultural myth.
