The first time I heard “I’m Beamin’” I hated it. I was covering the Sprite Step Off event for 29-95 and Lupe performed this song before a lukewarm crowd. For some reason, the futuristic vibe doesn’t translate live. The first time I heard “Kick, Push” fit grabbed me immediately. “I’m Beamin’” doesn’t do that for me.

    Riz, I usually like you’re opinion, but man, I love this song. I think Lupe’s one of the last GREAT mcs out there. This isn’t even comparable to “Bet I” or crap like that in my book. But hey, it’s your opinion. I respect that. I think LASERS is going to be amazing, though.
