Season 3: Episode 9 – A Date with the Booty Warrior
“A Date with the Booty Warrior” tackles Tom’s fear of going to prison and getting anally raped, an issue that was introduced on Season 1′s “A Date with the Health Inspector.” We learn for the first time that Tom is a gay rights advocate, even though he’s too homophobic for his own good. Tom volunteers to chaperon some troubled kids on a prison tour as part of a scared straight program. As you might expect, this turns out to be a very bad idea. Things get a little heated on the tour, and Tom sees his worst nightmare manifest itself. Well, somewhat. The tour culminates in an epic fight between Tom and the Booty Warrior.
As a follow up to “A Date with the Health Inspector” this episode hit all the right notes. My only complaint is that it seemed too short. But it’s understandable that plot development is hardly a priority when you only have 22 minutes to spare. Riley’s shit-talking at the end compensates for the brevity.
Tom’s arch-nemesis in this episode was inspired by a real life Booty Warrior, Fleece Johnson. But Johnson doesn’t have to fire anyone for leaking private information. MSNBC already “outed” him a couple years ago in a Lockup feature, which I thought was unintentionally funny.

Nigga, did you just say what I was trying to say but smarter?
