The Heat could barely wait to show off its new star players today. The team held a welcome rally for LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade at AmericanAirlines Arena. Hit the clip to watch Wade, LeBron, and Bosh in Miami. LeBron got carried away and promised the city 8 million championships.
On a related note, the Heat completed sign-and-trade deals with Cleveland and Toronto for their two newest superstars just before the welcome rally. James, Bosh and Dwyane Wade all signed six-year contracts on Friday night. Bosh and James signed for $110 million, while Wade signed for $107 million. Miami made Michael Beasley a financial casualty of the deal, tossing him to the Wolves in a trade. The Heat also sent two future first-round and two second-round picks to the Cavs for James, as well as two first-round picks to the Raptors for Bosh.
