Paul Wall is one of the nicest hip-hop artists I’ve ever met. And that’s not one of my sarcastic remarks. Really, Paul is sweeter than chocolate caramel Twix bars. But even the friendliest guy in the world has boundaries and shit. You flip a man the bird while he’s paying respect to Pimp C and getting acclimated with his own fans, you’re practically begging to get banged over the head with a microphone.
Look, I don’t condone Paul Wall’s reaction. He should’ve kept his cool. But he’s human and reacted like many of us would have. Sadly, this is becoming a recurring theme at hip-hop concerts. Remember the 50 Cent stage crasher? I’ll never don’t understand why people go to shows of artists they clearly despise.
