Some high school cheerleaders in Bridgeport, Connecticut think their midriff-baring uniforms show too much skin and they want local officials to step in and help. No, I’m not making that up. A former captain of a cheerleading squad took the complaints to the Bridgeport Board of Education last week, and then proceeded to give them a strip show just to make a point.
“We ask with the utmost respect you (to) do anything in your power to help us,” said former Captain Medina, according to the Post. “I don’t feel comfortable wearing this.”
Another cheerleader offered: “I am embarrassed to stand up here dressed like this. Is this really how you want Bridgeport to be represented?”
In other news, inmates complain that prison uniforms have too many stripes.
