I had fun kicking around names of Houston rappers who would make a decent gubernatorial candidate. It’s really not that bizarre if you think about it. Rappers and politicians have more in common than most people realize. Enter Rhymefest with his announcement that he’s diving head first into Chicago’s notoriously dirty political landscape. Fest is running for alderman in Chicago’s 20th ward.

Would you vote for him?
