“2-man Big Pun, a one-man Slaughterhouse, 2-album Jay-Z, a one-nigga Wu-Tang, young and hungry Mos Def, a conscious rapper Lil Wayne. And I don’t care for similarities”

Carrera Lu is on a mission to alter our perception of certain words. In the world of Fiasco “B.M.F.” means “Building Minds Faster.” And “S.L.R.” stands for “Super Lupe Rap.” You have Soulja Boy to thank for the latter. But I doubt Lupe was being complimentary when he thanked “Soulja for my new name.”

Lasers is still slated for March 8th.

  1. it’s parody, not parity.

    • Yup, I thought it was “parody” but that doesn’t make any sense in the context of the line. Anyway, I deleted it to avoid any confusion. Thanks.
