Remember DeAndre Wright? Of course, you do. She graced our Artist to Watch section last July. Since then, she’s been hard at work on a new mixtape, Writer’s Block. Ms. Wright is now ready to unveil that project, with “9 – 5 Overtime” leading the way. Consult the frenetic tune for a taste of Writer’s Block, due March 21st.

  1. I absolutely love the electric feel of this song! DeAndre’s voice always shocks me because she can hit so many ranges I never know what to expect. It’s like she controls and master’s the beat with her voice. Even after the music stops you can still hear her singing. She has a very addictive voice and with this song I am pretty sure I have found a new song to get ready too whether it’s going to work or going out with the girls. Love this song! Kudos Ms. Wright.

  3. Ms. Wright is very beautiful but, unfortunately her music, while decently produced and written, is almost as generic sounding as she is good looking. That being said it could work at pop radio, maybe…..

  4. I love this record better yet i love the content of the song she definitely rocked this
