“I’m going with the name Mike Bigga because I really feel like I’m bigger than what I have been in the past and I’ve managed to get legendary status from being a raw rap guy in terms of being able to come out of the shadows of the hardships I’ve had.”

That was Mike Bigga (p/k/a Killer Mike) two years ago. He awoke to the realization that referencing homicide in your stage name can limit your opportunities, especially for a well-rounded artist like Mike. Mike Bigga can’t wait to show off that shiny new moniker. He has a group album with Big Boi and Pill in the works. I imagine they have to clear some major hurdles before that can materialize.

For now, he’s prepping his own solo album, PL3DGE, out April 19. It’s loud and bold and devoid of a boring moment. Here’s the tracklist and production credits to give you an idea of what to expect.
