Using a formula that combines past earnings, current earnings and figures from various analysts, Forbes has arrived at a list of the five wealthiest hip-hop artists.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is numero uno with a reported net worth of $475 million. Jay-Z is a close second with $450 million. Superproducer Dr. Dre comes in at No. 3 with a net worth of $125 million. 50 Cent and Birdman round up the Top 5 with $100 million each.
