As Thursday ushered in Friday and summer sang its last hurrah, The Weeknd released a new EP titled Thursday to soundtrack it all. The 9-song project is chock full of long-winding tunes that twist and turn in Kanye-esque fashion. It’s all moody alt-pop atmospherics and artfully sang come-ons.
