Breax Over 3 Back with New Mixtape

San Diego’s “premium hip-hop/spoken word” crew is grinding. In the last year theBREAX trio has offered free music each Wednesday and just dropped their third BREAX OVER 3 mixtape with DJ Wade-O. They opened up the Rock the Bells Tour for Raekwon, Ghostface, and Mobb Deep at SD’s House of Blues last weekend.

We always knew the Ruslan could rhyme, but hearing Beleaf Melanin’s elevation as an MC over these last few projects has been particularly impressive – especially when you know he also carries crates as the collective’s touring DJ. (A third member, Mike B, mans the drums and spits poems when they flip that switch.)
