As Americans and members of the TRU nation pause to celebrate a moment of Thanksgiving, we felt it would be proper to share this cool story from Bobby “Tre9” Herring, co-owner of the Christian hip hop website DaSouth.com.

Even if you’ve never heard the term “hip hop missionary” and doubt that gospel rap is worth the wax it’s cut on, we’re guessing you’d have to have a pretty cold heart not to be warmed by this uplifting narrative.
