The record shows we’re pretty big into how a record is showed over here at TRU. So when I heard about Decon commissioning the fellas at Good Wood to create these awesome laser-engraved collecter’s editions my first reaction was “where can I buy one, as in, NOW“. Unfortunately, you can’t. Anywhere. Only 50 pieces are made and you can win them by tweeting a message containing “@decon @pusha_t #fearofgod.” I’ll make it even easier for you, just click this button and voila, it’s done, you’re eligible.

Yeah, TRU is your friend. It won’t improve my own chances of winning one though, so Decon, if you have one to spare? Help a blogger out. Of course, all this wouldn’t have mattered if the album sucked but yours truly did have the pleasure of obtaining an early digital copy and has so far been bumping little else all weekend. That should tell you enough (for now, might go more in depth later this week). Below is a behind the scenes peak at how this great swag pack was created.

1982 was when Jaap van der Doelen aka J.Monkey shot his way out his mom dukes. A mere two years later he was already battling Big Brother and The Illuminati. Whenever he has time to spare from those efforts he writes (about music, mostly), hosts a radio show and designs graphics for a living. He lives in The Netherlands where he continues to be winning.
