Speaking to TRU’s Aaron earlier this week we hit the topic of this year’s fourth quarter looking uncharacteristically tame (Still got that Common to look forward to but other than that? Meh.). Seems like all the big guns came out during the summer in this world of rap, but The Roots still have a surprise up their sleeve by not releasing one but two albums before you get the chance to loose a limb while drunkenly messing with coulorful Chinese explosives. Aside from their first concept-album, due in December, they’re releasing a collaboration album with soul legend Betty Wright as early as November 15th, that’s next week. It seems to be more in the vein of last year’s Wake Up with John Legend and a peek at the tracklist reveals there will be some verses and high profile guests found on it as well. The first leak even contains a performance by million-seller Tunechi and you can check it out below as well as the tracklist.

Betty Wright & The Roots: Grapes On A Vine ft. Lil’ Wayne

1. Old Songs
2. Real Woman Ft. Snoop Dogg
3. In The Middle Of The Game (Don’t Change The Play)
4. Surrender
5. Grapes On A Vine Ft. Lil Wayne
6. Look Around (Be A Man)
7. Tonight Again
8. Hollywould
9. Whisper In The Wind Ft. Joss Stone
10. Baby Come Back
11. So Long, So Wrong
12. You And Me, Leroy
13. The One
14. Go!

In other Illadelph’s Finest news, “Tip The Scale,” the second part of their undun video series, hit the web earlier this week.

The album undun will be in stores December 6th.
