Rza further beefs up his IMDB profile and reveals he’ll be playing a role in season 5 of the popular Showtime series Californication. He even recorded a song in the guise of his character on the show that he put up on Soundcloud yesterday.

In mathematics, the number 12 is “L” which represents love, so we’ll start the year with a case of love. In the new season of Californication I play a rapper named Apocalypse and I have an artist named Kali (played by Meagan Good). We reveal our love triangle in the form of a song called “2 Left Shoes.”

It’s unclear wether the song will be used on the show or was recorded as a method acting excercise. If you’re interested you’ll be able to find out soon enough as Californication returns next week. The trailer for the new season is below.

1982 was when Jaap van der Doelen aka J.Monkey shot his way out his mom dukes. A mere two years later he was already battling Big Brother and The Illuminati. Whenever he has time to spare from those efforts he writes (about music, mostly), hosts a radio show and designs graphics for a living. He lives in The Netherlands where he continues to be winning.
