We’ll be joining the strike on January 18th, no new posts for that on this fateful Wednesday. Of course, the hip-hop blogosphere knows better than many how dark it can get, as we’ve already seen a glimpse of a possible dark future in full effect when Dajaz1 and OnSmash unfairly were seized and denied due process. We’re fully supporting the strike here at TRU so you’ll understand things’ll be quiet round these parts tomorrow with no new posts going up. Read more about the seizure of Dajaz1 and sign the petition against internet censorship here. It’s bigger than hip-hop.

[UPDATE: Well, that was nice. Let’s take a day off every year! Seriously though, the number of senators publicly opposing SOPA/PIPA has now gone up from 5 to 35. Power to the people y’all!]
