Can you tell I’m in Coachella Mode today? You can? Damn, I thought was being subtle about it. Anyway, here’s another artist I missed while attending to some serious business, i.e. losing track of time while chatting with a friend about the merits of potato bread. Good thing Coachella is streaming this year’s festivities. They’re only streaming the first weekend, but still.
Anyhow, Gambino shared the stage with tour mate Danny Brown and Aftermath rapper/ghostwriter Kendrick Lamar. Childish is brave for taking Danny Brown on tour. From what I’ve heard so far, the predominantly white tweens at his shows aren’t really feeling Brown. Apparently, the Dallas crowd was so bad (they kept calling him the N-word, I’m told) that Brown swore he’s never going back to the D. Oh, Dallas.
