The last collaboration these fellas released (Kendrick’s ‘HiiiPower’ was produced by Cole) ended up in the top regions of last year’s greatest tracks of 2011 list. Further work between these guys seems like a good idea to me.

“We actually worked, bouncing ideas, which was great. The vibe was so good that it was like, man, that’s absolutely gonna happen. We got maybe four or five [songs] together.”

So, they’re working together, but I wouldn’t hold my breath for it to drop anytime soon, Ghost and DOOM have been eight tracks deep into their collabo for four years now. This semi-official announcement might be jumping the gun a bit. Still, interesting news nonetheless. Peep the full interview below. Spotted at HipHopDX.
