Over a simple Jaq beat as smooth as the bourbon it’s named after, JustMe and Sheisty Khrist honor their homestate of Kentucky while at the same time hashing out the ugly racism that still has a legacy and unfortunate currency in the Bluegrass State.

This follows the “Luther” remix JustMe recently released and continues the racial/social issue theme he appears to be weaving throughout his upcoming album. It’s an interesting (and welcome) topic for a somewhat countryfied white MC.

And don’t be ashamed if you have to look up Frank X Walker (the “Affrilachian” poet JustMe name drops in the first verse) – we did too.

Full Disclosure from Illect Records releases on Tuesday, May 29. Cheers!
