Tomorrow is the day a pivotal match in the European Football Championship of 2012 will be held. The Netherlands will face off against Germany, and if the Orange squad can’t beat their neighbors, they can kiss the tournament goodbye. Germany on the other hand, is virtually ensured of a pass to the second round if they manage to beat the runner-up world champs. Both countries were favorites for the title at the start of the tournament and have a storied sports history together (let’s not get into any other obvious historical ties here), it promises to be an exciting match for both the Germans and the Dutch. Seeing how the Germans were underwhelming but victorious in their match against Portugal and the Dutch were playing decently but neglected to actually friggin’ score against Denmark, anything can happen.
In this intro lead for Dutch tv however, things stay friendly at least, as two graffiti artists visualize the match in a piece featuring both national shields prominently.
